The JAECOO 7 is available with two distinct powertrain options:

• Petrol Version: Powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine generating 145bhp, offered in both 2WD and 4WD layouts for versatile driving.
• Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) Version: Features a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine paired with an electric motor, producing a total output of 204bhp for enhanced performance and efficiency.
• Self Charging Hybrid Version: Combining a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine with an electric motor to deliver strong, efficient everyday performance. The system automatically recharges the battery while driving, meaning no external plugging in is required.

The JAECOO 7 delivers ample boot space tailored to your needs. The petrol model provides 580 litres of cargo room with the rear seats upright, expanding to 1,265 litres when folded flat. Meanwhile, the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version offers 412 litres of space with seats up, growing to 1,335 litres when folded down. Both variants feature a spacious, flat loading floor and a convenient powered tailgate, making loading and unloading effortless.​​
