The Stoner Motor Company have a proud tradition of supporting community-based charities and initiatives in and around Kent. The family-run business, based in Tunbridge Wells and Medway, is embarking on a new challenge to support the incredible work undertaken by the volunteer’s family and staff at Demelza House.

For those who don’t know, Demelza House provides professional, specialist one-to-one care, support and access to life enhancing facilities for babies, children and young people up to the age of 18.

Set in beautiful grounds and with serene gardens, the Demelza hospice boasts many leisure facilities and activities, making it the perfect retreat, whether for day or short-term respite residential care.

Each child who visits Demelza Kent has access to their own bedroom, with a specialist bed or cot and ensuite bathroom. The hospice also has specially adapted bedrooms, designed to enable an enhanced level of independence for young people staying there. Parents and siblings are welcome to stay in the family accommodation, complete with kitchenette, ensuite bathroom and lounge.

In recognition of the incredible efforts of all connected to this truly inspiring charity, we are embarking on a challenge to help raise funds for this most worthy of causes.

Throughout 2022, £5 will be donated for every new and used car sold throughout the Stoner dealership!! The Stoner group will be aiming for a grand total of £10,000 for the year which will be broken down quarterly for the charity.

Dean Stoner, Managing Director, added, “Being able to contribute to the fantastic work by all at Demelza is truly humbling. Myself and my team are looking forward to the challenge of supporting such an iconic cause”.

Dean goes on to say “Such is our focus on this challenge, we have had the instantly recognisable Demelza logo emblazoned over our showrooms to reinforce the message to our customers that this is a challenge we can all be proud to deliver”.
